Role/Purpose
• Answering customer technical support calls and emails
with respect to CSI products and structural engineering.
Requirements
• MS in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a design office
• Fluent in English
• Good knowledge of CSI Product Line, namely, SAP2000, ETABS
and SAFE
• PE or SE license is desirable

> Structural Software Development Engineer
Berkeley, CA
For all software development engineers, excellent programming
skills are required, including the ability to work as part of
a team and to use a variety of programming languages, especially Visual Basic/C,
and development environments. Knowledge of computer graphics and graphic design
skills a plus. Clear communication and writing skills are required.
Software development engineers will have either or both of the
following qualifications:
(1) A Ph.D. or extensive experience in the field of structural
engineering and/or structural mechanics, with a strong background
in one or more of the following areas: structural dynamics, mechanics
of materials, nonlinear material behavior, computational mechanics,
finite element analysis, and numerical analysis of large linear
and nonlinear systems.
(2) An M.S. degree in Civil Engineering and 2 or more years of
experience in structural engineering practice with a strong background
in Computer-aided analysis of structures, finite element analysis,
structural dynamics and earthquake engineering. Knowledge of appropriate
design codes is important, including international codes. Seismic and/or
nonlinear design experience is useful. Familiarity with engineering
terminology, workflow, and reporting requirements is required.

• Engineer responsible for
giving sales presentations to prospective clients and responding
to technical pre-sales inquiries.
• In charge of managing the sales cycle, from a technical
standpoint, from beginning to end.
• Building proof of concepts for customers, in a pre-sales
capacity, to show them how CSI software can greatly increase their
efficiency in analysis and design of structures.
