Overview - Revit Structure to ETABS
- Imported data is that of the Revit Structure analytical model. An equivalent ETABS analytical model will be created or updated.
- Upon importing from Revit Structure to ETABS, users are given the chance to examine all of the model data associated w/ the Revit Structure model before the import or updates are applied to the model.
- Users can make changes to the mapping of elements prior to importing or updating.
- All unit transalations from Revit Structure to ETABS are taken care of by CSiXRevit.
Building Story Data
- Users are shown all Revit Structure story data prior to import or update to ETABS.
Material Property Data
- All material property that are included in the Revit Structure will be imported into ETABS.
- New equivalent material properties will automatically be created and mapped to in ETABS.
- Users have the ability to make minor changes to material properties when importing into ETABS.
- Revit Structure materials properties can be assigned to preloaded ETABS material properties.
Section Property Data
- All Revit Structure section properties will be either mapped to ETABS database section properties (standard steel shapes) or parametrically created (standard concrete shape) in ETABS.
- Users has complete control of section property mapping.
- Section property mapping can be saved and reloaded in the case of multiple round tripping so mapping only needs to be defined onced.
- Select which ETABS database .PRO files are used by CSixRevit in mapping of sections.
Floor Section Property Data
- All floors section properties that are included in the Revit Structure will be imported into ETABS.
- New equivalent floor properties will automatically be created and mapped to in ETABS.
- Users have the ability to make minor changes to floor section properties when importing into ETABS.
- Revit Structure materials properties can be assigned to preloaded ETABS floor section properties.
Wall Section Property Data
- Similar to floor sections, all wall section properties that are included in the Revit Structure will be imported into ETABS.
- New equivalent wall section properties will automatically be created and mapped to in ETABS.
- Users have the ability to make minor changes to wall section properties when importing into ETABS.
- Revit Structure wall properties can be assigned to preloaded ETABS wall section properties.
